Your my wife

The righteous slave shu'ayb ( Rahimahu Allah) wanted to get married. When he saw her, he like what he saw and she agreed on him as well . But he feared she would not be patient of his temper and 'akhlaaq , so he said to her: "Know that I am of bad akhlaaq (temper)". She replied to him like a wise , mature and patient wife and said : "Worse than you  in akhlaaq , is the one who causes you to be bad tempered". He liked her reply and told her immediately " Your my wife".

Good deeds and Bad deeds

Ibn 'Abbas (Radia Allahu anhu) said:

"Indeed good actions are a light in the heart, a strengthening for the body, a glow on the face, a cause for extensive provisions  and love in the hearts of the creation.

Indeed bad actions are a darkness in the heart, a blackness on the face, a weakness for the body , a cause for decrease in provisions and hatred in the hearts of the creation"

Believer in every movement

It is narrated that Al Fudayl b.Ayyad (Rahimahu Allah) said:

"The believer speaks little and make a lot, while the hypocrite (munafiq) speaks a lot and make a little.When the believer speaks , it is with wisdom. When he is silent, he is in deep reflection. when he sees , he takes lessons and when he act is a cure. If this is the way you have, then you are in constant worship (of your Lord)."

The sin that takes to Paradise

One of the Salafs said:"Indeed a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise, and another does a good deed by which he enters the Fire."It was asked : How is that? So he replied: " The one who committed the sin , constantly thinks about it ; which causes him to fear it,regreat it, weep over it and feel ashamed in front of his Lord, the Most High- due to it. He stands before Allah, broken hearted and with his head lowered in humility. So this sin is more beneficial to him that doing many acts of obedience , since it caused him to have humility and humbleness- which lead to the servant's happiness and sucess- to the extent that this sin becomes the cause for him entering Paradise. As for the doer of good , then he does not consider this good a favour from his Lord upon him. Rather,he becomes arrogant and amazed with himself, saying :  I have achieved such and such , and such and such. So this further increases him in self-adulation , pride and arrogance - such that this becomes the cause for this destruction.

As far as is permissible to lie?...

"Umm Kulthum Bint 'Uqbah (Radia Allahu anha) said: The Prophet (Salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam) permitted lying in three situations. During the war, in the reconciliation between people and in the speech by a man to his wife."
(In another narration) The speech by a man to his wife and the speech of a woman to her husband.

Shaykh Albani (Rahimahu Allah) declare:

" I say, that is not in the allowed that a man lie with promises to his wife into something he has not intention of following it. Or he says he bought such and such for a price so and so i.e.more that (the price) real in order to pleasant her- because she may be aware , then it is a reason for her to think ill of her husband , and this is from corruption, not from the correction."

The balance of everything

It is reported that Wahb ben Munabbih (Rahimahu Allah) said:

" A scholar once asked another grater that him in knowledge, How much should I build? He replied : As much as shelters you from the sun and the rain. He asked: How much food should I eat? He replied: More than what keeps you hungry and less that what makes you full. He asked: How much should I wear? He replied:as the Messiah (Jesus) did.He asked: How much should I laugh? He replied: As much as appears in your face but does not make audible your voice. He asked: How much should I cry? He replied:Never tire from crying out of the fear of Allah.He asked :How much should I hide my deeds? He replied :Until people think you had not done a good deed. He asked: How much should I make public my deeds? He replied as much as will let the keen follow your example but not have the people talk about you."

Wahb said: "Everything has two ends. If you grab one end , the other will slant , but if you take the middle , both ends will balance. Stick to the balanced middle in the all affairs."

The Absurdity of Envy

It is reported that Mohammed ben Sirin (Radia Allahu anhu) said: I have never envied anyone over anything : If a person is going to be in the Fire , how could I envy him over some worldly matter when he is destined for the fire?! And if he is going to Paradise , how could I been envious of a man of Paradise with whom Allah (Tabaraka wa ta'ala) is pleased?!
Muslim said: We have never heard anything better than this from the words of Ibn Sirin.

Actions by intentions.

Question submitted to the Ulamah the Shaikh, Zayd al-Madkhali ( Hafidhahu Allah):

Noble Shaykh how can believers stay away from show their actions and that people praise him for it , because his worship into something and that can hurt him?

" The actions are based on intentions, therefore he who has been praised by the people for a good deed and he made the action only for to seek the pleasure of Allah , the praise of the people do not hurt him. His praise for him is actually a testimony of them, so this does not hurt. If detects something in his heart with wonder when he is praised by people or when he hears who praise, he turn to Allah azza wa yall and depend on him to say the supplication narrated by the Prophet (Salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam):

"Allaahumma Inni A'udhu Bika An Ushrika Bika Shay-an 'A lamuhu Wa As-tagh-firuka Limaa T'alam"
"Oh Allah, in fact, I seek refuge in you from associate anything to you, being aware of it. And I seek your forgivennes for what you know." 

With the permission of Allah , what is in the heart of the weakness or the amazement will go with the strength of Allah and His power.

The different kinds of conversation

‘Ali ibn Abi Maryam narrated on the authority of Tamim Ibn Khalaf who said  that Abu Ishaaq al Fazaari said:
Ibrahim ibn Ad-ham (Rahimahu Allah) used to keep silence for long periods of time, if he spoke I was pleased.
One day he was silent for a very long period of time, I said: "If you speak"
He said: There are four types of dialogue:

1. The kind of conversation you expect to benefict but fear its consequences. It is more virtuous to be safe from such dialogue.
2. The conversation that you do not expect any benefict, also fear its consequences. Letting such dialogue, at least would you benefict is lighten the load on your body and tongue.
3. The conversation that you do not expect any benefict , and are not sure of the consequences. The intelligent person does not charge himself with such dialogue.( This third type was taken by Al Tahdheeb Al Kamaal Haafidh Al Mizzi, as it was included in this narration 'As Samt’. In another report this type of dialogue is described as a poison.)
4. The conversation from which expect benefict and you are sure of its consequences, and this is the kind of dialogue that you should propagate.
